Spiritual Care Assistant

Join the Revolution of Care at Mary's Meadow! Mary's Meadow at Providence Place is seeking a Spiritual Care Assistant to join their innovative team. This role involves assisting the Spiritual Care Coordinator in meeting the spiritual needs of residents, implementing spiritual programs, and providing support to residents, family members, and staff.

• Demonstrates, promotes, and integrates the mission of the Sisters of Providence.
• Provides intensive and extensive spiritual care to persons in various life situations and crisis circumstances.
• Visits, counsels, and ministers to residents, family members, and staff as needed.
• Visits hospitalized residents when possible.
• Attends wakes/funerals of residents when possible.
• Affords assistance and contribution to programs and services for the spiritual expression and development of residents.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in spiritual care services.
• Background in Theology.
• Effective communication through active listening and response.
• Knowledge of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Organization (preferred).
• Computer skills.

Compensation: $20- $24 per hour, depending on verification of experience and qualifications. Shift: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday: 9am-1pm.
