Spiritual Care Assistant (part-time)

Employment Type: Part time, Day Shift

Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, depending on verification of experience and qualifications

Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 9am–1pm

Mary's Meadow at Providence Place is looking for a passionate and dedicated Spiritual Care Assistant to join our innovative team. At Mary's Meadow, we believe in empowering our residents to live their lives to the fullest while enjoying the comforts of a home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates, promotes, and integrates the mission of the Sisters of Providence
• Provides intensive and extensive spiritual care to persons in various life situations and crisis circumstances
• Visits, counsels, and ministers to residents, family members, and staff as needed
• Visits hospitalized residents when possible
• Attends wakes/funerals of residents when possible
• Assists and contributes to programs and services for the spiritual expression and development of residents

Requirements

• Experience in spiritual care services
• Background in Theology
• Communicate effectively through active listening and response
• Knowledge of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Organization preferred
• Computer skills
