Spiritual Care Assistant (per diem)

Join the Revolution of Care at Mary's Meadow! Mary's Meadow at Providence Place is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spiritual Care Assistant to support the Spiritual Care Coordinator in meeting the spiritual needs of residents. The role involves preparing and implementing spiritual programs and providing ministerial visits to residents, family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate, promote, and integrate the mission of the Sisters of Providence.
• Provide intensive and extensive spiritual care to persons in various life situations and crisis circumstances.
• Visit, counsel, and minister to residents, family members, and staff as needed.
• Visit hospitalized residents when possible.
• Attend wakes and funerals of residents when possible.
• Assist and contribute to programs and services for the spiritual expression and development of residents.

Requirements

• Experience in spiritual care services.
• Background in Theology.
• Effective communication through active listening and response.
• Knowledge of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Organizations (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.

Pay

Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, depending on verification of experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Part‑time, day shift. Primarily Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday, 2–3 days per month.
