Spine Neurosurgeon - Physician

Job Duties

We are seeking a neurosurgeon who specializes in cutting edge minimally invasive and/or complex spine surgery. A spine focused neurosurgeon would join a collaborative group of two other neurosurgeons with complex and deformity spine surgery expertise. Available technology for spine procedures includes the Medtronic O arm and stealth navigation, and our surgeons have already developed the infrastructure and work flow for anterior, lateral, and posterior spine approaches. We are seeking a candidate who is motivated to expand our expertise and increase patient access and choice in our region.

About the Role

The Spine Neurosurgeon will join the Geisinger Neuroscience Institute in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The position is part of a diverse neurosurgical faculty with existing comprehensive coverage of vascular/endovascular, neuro-oncology, skull base, stereotactic, and functional neurosurgery. General neurosurgery call coverage including cranial and spine trauma is required.

Education

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
