About the role
CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick in Lake Charles, Louisiana is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Neurosurgeon to join its growing neurosurgical team. The position offers a full‑time role with shared call, access to advanced technology, mentorship, and a strong regional patient volume within an integrated health system.
Responsibilities
- Provide spine and cranial surgical care with an emphasis on spine procedures.
- Participate in shared call with two other neurosurgeons.
- Utilize advanced technology including the Globus Robot and G‑arm.
- Engage in mentorship opportunities for early‑career surgeons.
- Collaborate with a broad network of specialists across the Ochsner Health system.
- Contribute to teaching, research, and physician leadership using the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Neurosurgery.
- Active Louisiana medical license (or eligibility).
- DEA registration.
