About the Role

In cooperation with other members of the department clinical staff, a Staff Physician will provide and coordinate patient care by abiding by Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork, and Excellence.

The Department of Neurosurgery is a member of the Ochsner Neuroscience Institute located in New Orleans, consistently ranked as one of the top 50 Neuroscience Centers by U.S. News and World Report. Our department includes 19 full-time neurosurgeons (adult and pediatric), 9 Neuro-intensivists, 1 Neuroradiologist, and 43 Neurologists spread across Ochsner locations throughout Louisiana.
