Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid press operators in setting up, adjusting, and maintaining printing presses.
- Load and unload paper, ink, and other materials onto the press.
- Maintain proper alignment and ensure stock is ready for printing.
- Monitor print runs for quality, ensuring color consistency, proper alignment, and overall print quality.
- Report any issues to the press operator immediately.
- Mix ink and maintain proper ink levels for consistent color reproduction.
- Check and maintain inventory levels for materials.
- Identify and resolve minor technical issues with the press under the guidance of the press operator.
- Clean presses, rollers, and other equipment regularly.
- Provide general support to the production team, including preparing materials, organizing job orders, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly prepared and cleaned.
- Remove waste items for recycling.
- Complete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in work areas.
- Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Attend all department/company meetings.
Qualifications
- 1 year’s experience as a Sheet Fed Press Operator.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency, preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Pay
Salary Range: $19.00 To 25.00 Hourly Compensation Commensurate With Experience.
Schedule
Primary schedule: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, or similar. Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs.
