Speech Therapy Clinical Assistant – Residential Psychiatry
About the role
The Speech Therapy Clinical Assistant position is located at the College Hill Campus, 5642 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati OH 45224. The schedule is flexible, allowing for 20 hours per week, with a proposed schedule of Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. The employee status is regular.
Responsibilities
- Help coordinate patient appointments
- Prepare rooms and groups for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Clean toys
- Perform general office tasks
Job Qualifications
- Past childcare and/or office experience preferred
- Speech or Allied Health students are a plus

Pay
Starting at $18.16/hour. The expected starting pay range is $18.16 - $22.25, based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates.
About the Division of Speech-Language Pathology
Our speech-language pathologists care for infants, children, teens, and young adults with various conditions such as autism, childhood apraxia of speech, dysphagia, and speech sound disorders. We create individualized plans and involve families in setting meaningful goals. We partner closely with experts in multiple specialties to provide comprehensive care.
Speech-Language Pathology
We offer innovative therapy options like ultrasound treatment for persistent speech sound disorders and evidence-based therapy for severe childhood apraxia of speech. Our work connects research directly to patient care, and we participate in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association National Outcomes Measurement System (NOMS) to track progress and improve care.
