Speech Therapy Clinical Assistant – Residential Psychiatry
About the role
The Speech Therapy Clinical Assistant position at the College Hill Campus is part-time, with a weekly commitment of 20 hours. The ideal candidate should have experience in childcare and/or office settings, and ideally, some background in speech or allied health.
Responsibilities
- Help coordinate patient appointments
- Prepare rooms and groups for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Clean toys and perform general office tasks
Qualifications
- Past childcare and/or office experience preferred
- Speech or Allied Health student status a plus

Additional pay (shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
Pay
Starting at $18.16 per hour, with pay based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates.
About the Division of Speech-Language Pathology
Our division cares for infants, children, teens, and young adults with various conditions, including autism, childhood apraxia of speech, dysphagia, and speech sound disorders. We collaborate with specialists in ENT, gastroenterology, pulmonary medicine, neurology, and other fields to develop personalized treatment plans. We also offer innovative therapies like ultrasound treatment for persistent speech sound disorders and evidence-based therapy for severe childhood apraxia of speech. Our work connects research with patient care, and we provide coordinated evaluations and care through a team-based approach.
Job Location and Schedule
The position is located at the College Hill Campus, 5642 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati OH 45224. The proposed schedule is Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm, but alternative hours can be discussed.
