Speech Therapist in Home Health responsible for assessing and treating speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient function and develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team and physicians
• Provide therapy to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities
• Document patient responses and progress, and report to supervising healthcare professionals
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on speech therapy techniques and exercises

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed in Speech Therapy within the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation or public transit
