About the role

The Speech Therapist in Home Health assesses and treats patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient function related to speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
• Perform interventions to improve communication and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and report responses to treatment.

Requirements

• Licensure in Speech Therapy within the state.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Pay

Hourly rates range from $36.05 to $54.05, based on experience and qualifications.
