Speech Therapist - Mobile Outpatient Therapy

About the role

Full-time mobile outpatient speech therapy position covering assisted/independent living facilities and community settings from Watertown to Southington, CT. Schedule is 35–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to restore, reinforce, and enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
• Deliver effective and efficient rehabilitation services in a variety of settings (ALF, ILF, community).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and make appropriate referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on strategies to promote independence and functional communication.
• Participate in meetings, document progress, and maintain equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a related field accepted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Current state licensure, certification, or credential as required in Connecticut.

Pay

Posted salary range: USD $48.00 – USD $62.00 per hour.
