About the role
Shema Kolainu-Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our Early Intervention team in Bronx, NY. As a Speech Therapist with SKHOV, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 0-3, targeting developmental milestones in communication, play, and daily routines. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to children aged 0-3, focusing on developmental milestones in communication, play, and daily routines
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language delays and disorders
- Utilize evidence-based practices and strategies to address speech and language deficits
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other members of the Early Intervention team to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech therapy
Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
- Level of Education: Master's degree
- Additional Requirements: Certified with NYS
Pay
Salary: $60–$70 per session. Sessions typically 30 minutes each.
