Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to children.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support child development.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and family service meetings as needed.
- Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and program regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Arkansas Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship eligibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, or early intervention programs (preferred).
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based therapy practices (preferred).
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
