About the role
A Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) is responsible for providing therapy services, completing supervised clinical training, and advancing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Complete a minimum of 36 weeks of Clinical Fellowship under supervision and mentorship.
- Meet licensure and professional standards, including documentation and licensure requirements.
- Communicate progress and licensure status to supervisors.
- Participate in patient care, team conferences, and interdisciplinary referrals.
- Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans across areas such as speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and communication devices.
- Evaluate patients, perform assessments, and document progress.
- Promote safety, order supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality patient service.
- Instruct patients in therapeutic techniques and assist with hearing assessments and device usage.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Licensure or certification as required in the practice state.
