As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll help patients restore communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver effective and efficient rehabilitation services in various settings, including skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care.
• Assess patient needs and adapt treatment approaches to promote independence and productivity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Train patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing skills.
• Maintain clinical documentation, attend meetings, and manage equipment as part of daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a related field acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Active state licensure, certification, or credentialing as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted salary range: USD $40.00 – USD $48.00 per hour.
