Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery
• Assist with speech language in-service education and the speech language pathologist student program
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians
• Celebrate patient victories along the way

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications
