Speech Pathologist, Senior

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients, addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and the speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories and build rewarding relationships.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in speech therapy or management; Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications.
