About the Role
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team while adhering to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Reviews patient information before evaluations and during the course of treatment.
- Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
- Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
- Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
- Supervises assistants and support staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign equivalent: Required
- Two years' speech-language pathology experience: Preferred
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required
Schedule
Full-time, day shift, 8-hour shifts.
Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $47.60 to $71.34 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. A comprehensive benefits program is also available for qualifying positions.
