Speech Pathologist, Home Health, Part Time

Home health and hospice agencies located throughout California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington serve the entire community, offering personalized in-home care. Many locations have received Home Care Elite awards.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Identifies changes and trends in physical and emotional parameters.
• Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change, or write new programs.
• Maintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy, and administrative regulation.
• Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or foreign equivalent (Required).
• Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice (Required).
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy (Required).
• American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) (Preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older (Required).
