About the role
The Speech Pathologist provides clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community. This professional position allows you to apply your extensive knowledge and expertise in speech pathology with all of your patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations
- Perform patient assessments with physicians and develop treatment plans
- Perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing
- Confer with physicians and other health care professionals
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association OR be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with ASHA standards
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred

Pay
The pay scale is $44.42 - $67.33 USD per hour. Pay is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on years of experience.
