Speech Pathologist (Home Health)

Role Overview

Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders, assessing, developing, and modifying treatment plans to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient data related to speech, language, and swallowing functions.
• Identify trends and changes in patients' physical and emotional parameters.
• Review and adjust treatment plans; instruct patients on monitoring speech and practicing new skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation compliant with legal and organizational standards.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's Degree or equivalent in speech-language pathology.
• State licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
• CPR/BLS certification from approved vendor.
• Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Valid Driver's License; age 21 or older.
• Facility-specific licenses: AHA/ARC BLS or CPR, and SLP licenses for applicable states.
