About the Role

Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, document, and monitor patient speech and swallowing functions.
  • Review and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.
  • Instruct patients on techniques to improve speech and swallowing skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Identify trends and changes in patient conditions, adjusting interventions accordingly.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
  • CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
  • Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old.
  • Facility-specific certifications: AHA-BLS, ARC-BLS or equivalent, and licensure for Oregon and Washington.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
