About the Role
Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities
- Assess, document, and monitor patient speech and swallowing functions.
- Review and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.
- Instruct patients on techniques to improve speech and swallowing skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Identify trends and changes in patient conditions, adjusting interventions accordingly.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
- Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old.
- Facility-specific certifications: AHA-BLS, ARC-BLS or equivalent, and licensure for Oregon and Washington.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
