About the role
Speech Language Pathologist responsible for diagnosing, treating, and consulting on communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Provide therapy to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate speech therapy interventions.
- Participate in clinical education by supervising students and interns.
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary care team, setting patient care priorities and assigning activities.
- Notify staff of significant incidents and intervene when necessary.
- Perform additional duties related to patient care and community education.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure
- CCC-SLP certification
- CPR/BLS certification
