Speech Pathologist, Center For Child Development Per Diem Day
About the role
To provide quality goal directed Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning to pediatric patients in a variety of age groups with cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disabilities. Pediatric oral motor/feeding experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders.
- Provide therapy sessions to address identified goals and progress towards treatment objectives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support for patients and families.
- Document progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to maintain professional competence and stay updated on best practices.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, Communication Disorders or related areas from an accredited college or university.
- No previous experience required.
- Current certification by the American Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ASHA) in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent preferred.
- Maintains current state of New Jersey license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current BLS certification.

Pay
Pay Range: $43.35 - $54.19 (per hour)
