About the Role

The Speech Language Pathologist assesses, develops, and implements individualized therapy plans for clients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disabilities in community-based settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Review medical histories and collaborate with medical professionals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Instruct clients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
  • Document assessments, therapy progress, and outcomes
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Provide quality, patient-centered care

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience
  • Ability to perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Effective communication skills with clients, caregivers, and medical professionals
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Physical capacity for medium work, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally

No supervisory responsibilities.
