Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary
H2 Health Prime Living is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to provide 1:1 patient care in senior living communities. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric caseload including dysphagia, cognitive impairment, neurologic disorders, and problem-solving programs.
About the Role
This position requires a graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program with prior experience in outpatient therapy, with a strong emphasis on dysphagia. The successful candidate must hold an active CCC-SLP state license and be able to work independently and in teams.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric caseload including dysphagia, cognitive impairment, neurologic disorders, and problem-solving programs.
- Work independently and in teams to make appropriate decisions based on each patient's functional needs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team approach to provide the best therapy opportunities for patients.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Experience: Prior experience in outpatient therapy is a plus. Experience with dysphagia is required.
Qualifications
- Active CCC-SLP state license.
