Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

About the role

Travel Speech-Language Pathologist providing evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active Illinois SLP license
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required)
• Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES, MBSS) preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation preferred

Key Duties

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders
• Provide direct therapy to patients in a skilled nursing environment
• Complete documentation in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
