About the role
We are seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist to support acute care and inpatient rehab units in a level 1 trauma and stroke facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations for communication and swallowing disorders
- Provide treatment for communication and swallowing disorders
- Perform bedside swallow assessments
- Support a caseload across acute and rehab settings
- Use Meditech documentation and TIMS equipment as available
- Flexibility to cover both units and work rotating weekends
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Missouri SLP license
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and inpatient rehab preferred
Skills
- Strong clinical expertise in speech-language pathology
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Meditech and TIMS
