About the role
Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel SLP and use your skills where they’re needed most. You’ll help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while exploring a new part of the country. Location highlights: Salinas offers access to the Monterey Bay coast and central California landmarks within a short drive. Monterey is about 20 miles away and Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium are popular destinations for days off. Point Lobos State Natural Reserve is about 30 miles from Salinas, and Pinnacles National Park is about 45 miles inland for hiking and rock formations. The city is also known as the birthplace of John Steinbeck, with the National Steinbeck Center located downtown and easy access to Highway 101 for regional travel. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
