About the role
We are seeking a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment and treatment services in a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include developing and implementing communication and swallowing therapy plans to support patient recovery and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide therapy during day shifts, typically Monday through Friday, with one weekend rotation per month
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license in Alabama
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- BLS certification may be required
