About the Role

Join as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Travel required between facilities within the Detroit/Ypsilanti area.

Work in a skilled nursing facility with day shift hours (08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday) supporting a split assignment across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and swallowing evaluations and therapy services.
  • Work in a skilled nursing facility with day shift hours (08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday).
  • Support a split assignment across multiple facilities within the region.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active Michigan SLP license.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required).
  • Ability to travel and split assignments between two facilities within the region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in skilled nursing facilities and dysphagia management.
