Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel SLP and use your skills where they’re needed most. You’ll help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while exploring a new part of the country.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visits and occasional office meetings for patient care
• Assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and families

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARCC
• Current and unencumbered speech pathology license specific to the state of practice
• CPR certification
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance

• The Covington Square features locally known filming locations and is about 40 miles east of downtown Atlanta
• Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center is roughly 20 miles away and offers trails, fishing, and wildlife viewing
• Hard Labor Creek State Park is about 25 miles from Covington with golf, hiking, and lake recreation
• The city also provides access to Interstate 20 and is within reasonable driving distance of Stone Mountain Park and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
