About the role

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital is a 53-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Germantown, Tennessee, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier® with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
• Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Requirements

• A current licensure with the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology in Tennessee.
• A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• A valid license as a Speech Therapist.
• Current licensure with the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
