Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatrics

About the role

The role involves evaluating, planning, and providing speech, language, cognition, and swallowing therapy for pediatric patients in accordance with ASHA standards and clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge planning for a full caseload.
• Provide patient and caregiver education, documentation, billing, scheduling, and administrative duties.
• Communicate professionally and supervise support staff while adhering to organizational policies and ethics.
• Participate in staff education, committees, onboarding, and mentoring; may serve as a clinical instructor.
• Flex to other departments based on patient needs when schedule permits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech and language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state registration/license to practice speech-language pathology.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and leadership abilities.

Schedule

This position typically involves day shifts, with a weekend on-call rotation approximately every 4–6 weeks.
