Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) In House PRN

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Lawton, OK. This PRN position supports an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility by planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate, following established standards, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
• Evaluate and gather data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans including target lists, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures to support therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation in NetHealth EMR systems, adhering to CMS expectations.
• Oversee and implement proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to ensure resident needs are met timely and with clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Active SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.
