About the Role

We are currently hiring 1 full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home-based care throughout the East New York and Canarsie neighborhoods in Brooklyn and to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads. Cases are usually 30 minutes and can go up to 1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.
