About the role

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who will play a crucial role in supporting our scholars' communication skills and overall academic success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observations and screenings for students with potential speech concerns
• Attend IEP meetings and document progress
• Submit teacher reports highlighting student strengths and needs
• Complete the Related Services section and goals in SESIS prior to IEP meetings
• Maintain open communication with families and address questions as they arise
• Collaborate with teammates - sharing insights and providing support
• Share screening results and next steps with families in a supportive manner
• Deliver engaging, differentiated sessions tailored to student needs
• Use data to inform instruction and guide students' progress

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related area (e.g., Speech Pathology) from an accredited college/university
• Valid NYS Speech-Language Pathology license (must hold CCC-SLP and either TSSLD or TSHH certification)
• Minimum of two years of professional SLP experience working with children
• PREFERRED: Experience working in a school setting

10-month school year with optional summer work available for additional pay
