Speech Language Pathologist Per Diem

Description

Trinity Health of New England is seeking an experienced Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join their mission-driven team at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital. The SLP is part of a comprehensive care team responsible for evaluating and treating patients with mild to moderate cognitive deficits and neurological disorders, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and brain tumors.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations.
• Establishes functional goals based on evaluation results targeting deficit areas to help patients achieve maximum functional independence.
• Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.
• Completes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• State of Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology Licensure.
