About the Role
As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will deliver personalized speech, language, voice, hearing, and swallowing therapy in patients' homes or facilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and review treatment plans for patients.
- Administer diagnostic tests and monitor patient progress.
- Provide training on alternative communication methods.
- Counsel patients and families on therapy and progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all therapy sessions.
- Participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum six months of experience as a speech therapist or speech-language pathologist.
- Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- TB screening and compliance with driver safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home health settings.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $54.00 to $76.00 per visit/unit. Annual pay estimates for full-time roles are between $85,400 and $117,500.
