Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem - Acute Care and IRU
At NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, our Speech-Language Pathologists help adult patients experiencing serious impairments to connect with the world around them. Our tremendous team provides the expertise patients need to flourish in the areas of swallowing and communication.
Preferred Criteria
- Experience working with Trach/Vent patients
Required Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Pathology Association
- New York State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Adult experience in inpatient and outpatient setting
- Experience in dysphagia evaluation/treatment across the lifespan
- Competency in Modified Barium Swallow Study and/or FEES

Schedule
Per Diem position working Thursdays and Fridays, with weekend and Holiday commitment at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
