Speech Language Pathologist - Part-Time/PRN

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with orders from the physician
• Use therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes
• Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology
• Provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to: Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current state license/certification
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to: Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
