Speech Language Pathologist-Neuro-PRN
About the role
We are looking for experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide truly patient-centered care in Ontario, CA and surrounding areas. PRN positions are available that accept patients for the duration of their stay. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach, incorporating a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals, resulting in durable outcomes through an evidence-based approach.
Patients are accepted anywhere on the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness. Our experienced teams build individualized programs tailored to each patient's specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and treatment of impairments in speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
Requirements
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders (strongly preferred)
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with families, professionals, and co-workers
