Speech Language Pathologist - Full Time

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced SLP to take on a full-time role with one of our area clients. You’ll work with patients to improve communication and swallowing, making a real difference in their daily lives.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, or willingness to complete CFY as applicable.
• State Speech-Language Pathology license required or willingness to obtain state licensure prior to start.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally with pediatric populations and experience treating autism and child development needs.
• New graduates with clinical internships or practicum experience will be considered.
• Experience managing challenging behaviors, including aggression, in pediatric clinical settings.
• Experience working in outpatient settings preferred.
• Experience or interest in inpatient pediatric care is beneficial due to potential program growth.

• Flexible schedule options: typical outpatient shift patterns of 5×8 or 4×10 days.

Position Overview

• Settings: Primarily pediatric practice serving ages approximately 7–17, focusing on autism and child development; services provided in outpatient and some inpatient settings.
• Caseload: Primarily 1:1 sessions. Current caseloads may be intensive due to staffing shortages.
• Openings: One position available. Outpatient offering more hours and variable schedules as noted.
• Department: Five SLPs at this center; 20 SLPs across related departments; potential inpatient expansion by Fall 2026.
