About the role

The primary function of the Speech Language Pathologist is to plan, organize, develop and direct Speech Language Pathology Services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be defined by the Rehabilitation Clinical Manager/director of Rehabilitation Services, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, develop and direct Speech Language Pathology Services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times.
  • Be pleasant, respectful, and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors to the hospital as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to qualify for Speech Language Pathology licensure.
  • Upon hire: Montana Speech Language Pathologist License. Or Upon hire: Montana Speech Language Pathologist Limited License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care/rehabilitation setting, hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field.
