Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support in the assigned area, including writing and implementing individual scholar goals and objectives
• Evaluate scholar performance according to goals and objectives on the Individual Educational Plan (IEP)
• Promote scholar achievement and maintain required scholar records
• Prepare related reports for site/department licensed administrators as prescribed or authorized by the superintendent
• Maintain contact and communications with guardians/caregivers of scholars and collaborate with them in scholar development
• Perform classroom management duties and enforce district rules governing conduct
• Understand and implement due process guidelines following state and federal rules, regulations, and district policy
• Make appropriate and equitable use of resources and technologies
• Implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school/program
• Provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning and services when applicable
• Work collaboratively with others
• Participate in district, building, and department leadership activities
• Be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of guardians/caregivers, department, building, and/or district at the supervisor’s discretion

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• MN teaching license in Speech Language Pathology or willingness and eligibility to apply for and receive a Tier 2 license

$53,049.00 - $70,892.00 annually
