The Speech Language Pathologist provides skilled speech and language therapy to patients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities, tailoring evaluations and treatments to meet individual physical and age-related needs. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, developing treatment plans, and professional consultations to promote patient independence aligned with their functional level.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver speech therapy services to diverse patient populations
- Evaluate patient needs, develop and implement personalized therapy plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide professional consultations
- Ensure patient safety and independence through tailored interventions
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Speech/Language Pathology or equivalent education/experience
- Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Specialized training or experience relevant to departmental needs may be required
