About the role
North Texas Therapy & Home Care is a therapist-owned and operated facility dedicated to providing individualized care plans for patients. We specialize in pediatric care and offer a supportive environment for both patients and clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients' home or daytime facility.
- Schedules weekly supervision visits with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
- Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
- Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements
- Current Texas SLPA licensure.
- 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
- Pediatrics experience.
- Home Health experience preferred.
- Bilingual is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
