We partner with local schools to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services to PreK-12 students nationwide. About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Aurora, CO. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job details:
- Full Time, 37.5 hours/week
- PreK-12 grades, 2026-2027 School Year (August - May)
- Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time
- On-site, in-person
- Manageable caseloads
- Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to students
- Conduct screeners and monitor progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents)
- Direct therapy, consultation, and planning
- Collaboration with SLP supervisor
Requirements
- Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA-approved institution
- Department of education licensure as an SLPA, where required
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Experience working with children
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform necessary physical movement functions, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities
Pay
$40-$50+/hour ($1,612 - $1,975/week)
