We partner with local schools to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services to PreK-12 students nationwide. About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Aurora, CO. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job details:

  • Full Time, 37.5 hours/week
  • PreK-12 grades, 2026-2027 School Year (August - May)
  • Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time
  • On-site, in-person
  • Manageable caseloads
  • Dual support from the District and TheraPeds

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy services to students
  • Conduct screeners and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents)
  • Direct therapy, consultation, and planning
  • Collaboration with SLP supervisor

Requirements

  • Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA-approved institution
  • Department of education licensure as an SLPA, where required
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with children
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform necessary physical movement functions, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities

Pay

$40-$50+/hour ($1,612 - $1,975/week)
