Speech Language Pathologist $10K Sign-On Bonus
Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) throughout Maine for the 2026–2027 school year. We partner with school districts across the state and offer opportunities in diverse educational settings.

Rather than placing clinicians into a single opening, we take a personalized approach and match candidates with positions based on their experience, preferred age group, clinical interests, and geographic location. Compensation & Incentives
- $50–$60 Per Hour
- Guaranteed Pay: At Boothby, you're paid for your scheduled time, even when students are absent or sessions are canceled. Your compensation shouldn't depend on factors outside your control.
- Sign-On Bonus Eligibility: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, depending on assignment, location, and experience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by placement but may include:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
- Support students with:
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Receptive and expressive language disorders
- Social/pragmatic communication
- Fluency disorders
- Voice disorders
- AAC and assistive communication needs
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
- Active Maine SLP License or eligibility
- School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
